Confession time: This isn’t an inventory of “greatest bars in Seattle,” and if you happen to got here right here since you googled that string of phrases and located this text, you’re going to be upset. (Wait, no, come again!) As a result of what’s the “greatest” bar, anyway? It’s not a contest!
What that is is an inventory of the quintessential Seattle bars, a set of locations that if you happen to drank at them would offer you a way of town’s tradition and historical past. (Simply don’t attempt to go to all of them in at some point.) These are diners that double as dives, craft cocktail bars which might be equal components subtle and welcoming, music trade hangout spots, and simply plain ole bars.
