In 2023, brothers Dom and Vin Minichiello teamed up with also-brothers Mike and Fletch Morgan to transform a Buffalo wings pop-up into Belltown’s Vindicktive Bar & Wings. The brothers are emphatic about making wings the way they’re made in western New York: fried longer and tossed in a slightly chilled sauce that doesn’t skimp on the butter and clings to the wings without making them soggy. That attention to detail makes a real difference; the wings are satisfyingly crisp and generously coated in a sauce that’s never runny.
Vindicktive is on the ground floor of the circa-1890 Barnes Building. Nothing is too pristine; there are large booths, two and four-tops, a snug room for groups, and an upstairs bar. It’s great for a crowd. Transplanted Buffalo Bills fans have adopted Vindicktive as a de facto Bills bar during NFL season; google “Buffalo Bills schedule” first to avoid a crush. (You can also generally count on Seattle sports teams being shown during playoffs/significant games.)
